The Parish Council is the administrative body of the Church community elected by its stewards for the purpose of working together with the Parish Priest in fulfilling the mission and goals of the community. The members of the Parish Council have been elected to serve a special ministry which requires total love, loyalty and dedication to Christ and His Church.
The life of the Orthodox Church perpetuates and fulfills the ministry of Jesus Christ. The close association between Christ and His Church is reflected in the images from the Scriptures which declare that Christ is the Head and the Church is His Body, and that Christ is the Bridegroom and the Church is His bride.
